A Simple Life

It is brought home to me, it is no bad thing to celebrate a simple life. ~ Gandalf......... We all get an ordinary life. And it's good enough; it's good enough. ~ Garrison Keillor

About Me

My photo
Ami Scott
What can I say that won't come through in my writing? I'm essentially a very shy person that on the flip side can't shut up once I feel comfortable in a situation. I'm not one for big crowds but I have been described as a weaver woman keeping others connected. I am very spiritual although it's not very apparent. You will often find me barefoot in Church; it's just the right thing to do in the sacred area of the Sanctuary. I have been named a pagan although I don't really accept that term. I'm on a path of my own that will take me where it will be it a small grove in the woods or midnight mass at a Catholic Church. I love Nature and will often be found out of doors, even dancing in the rain. I'm also a major book whore. I will be found reading at least once a day and the currently reading stack is spread out over several rooms. And I collect cats and elephants. Imagine that. So start reading, delve into the links and peruse the pictures. Come and know me better.

Carey
~ Beloved husband that puts up with everything. He has turned into a career student majoring in history while learning the German language & getting his teaching certificate, loves to read, as well as play D&D and Mech Warriors. He plans to haul us to Japan in a couple of years. o.O
Ami ~ Me. A crazy 30-something mother of four with a career student for a husband and a triad of cats that chose to adopt me. I love to read, cook, garden, knit, and make my own soaps & salves.
James ~ Our oldest at nine. He is very active, loves to build with blocks, adores robots and believes he can't live without his trucks. He spends most of his time outside.
Meradydd ~ Our oldest daughter at seven years. An opinionated and exceedingly bossy little girl with a temper to match her copper hair. My little fashion diva that loves shoes, furlies, & hair pretties (and also doesn't mind jumping into mud puddles or climbing tree's). She's my gymnast & artist.
Kathrynn ~ Kitty is my five year old angel. She's a beautiful, mellow, smiley little girl that's extremely patient. However, recently she has taken to showing her claws and has become quite territorial. Her favorite thing right now is her bunny costume; rarely does a day go by she doesn't have it on at some point.
Charles ~ My little monkey! Our youngest son at eight, he is the most precious gift ever recieved on a birthday. He's a wonderful, sunny little guy that's very inquisitive and artistic.
